General Job Description:
The Marine Mechanic will need to provide repairs, services, and maintenance for a specific fleet of vessels, including a 64 foot custom build Gold Coast Yacht and sailing catamaran, Van Dutch luxury speed boat, outboard dinghys and Axopars.

Qualified candidates must have a mechanical aptitude of marine applications (marine diesel engines, Mercury Outboard, Yanmar engines). Must be good with a wide spectrum of diagnostics, trouble shooting, preventative maintenance, electrical, mechanical experience. Must speak and write in the English language. Must be willing to work overtime, nights, some weekends.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Develop and launch a digital software to maintain all vessels maintenance schedules, parts item numbers, inventory and local compliance
• Fully able to execute diesel engine maintenance and repairs, oil changes/injectors/fuel pumps/transmissions and assist with or direct engine change outs.
• Highly skilled in fiberglass repairs and welding
• Possess diagnostics equipment and tools for all engines being serviced
• Diesel mechanic experience
• Expert in marine electrical wiring and replacement of entire consoles
• Train captains and crew on boat maintenance techniques
• Able to carry out responsibilities with little or no immediate supervision.
• Able to diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions, recommend proper remedies, and execute or direct repairs of the vessel(s) mechanical and electrical systems.

Job Requirements
• Schedule and execute preventive maintenance program on daily, weekly, and monthly basis with the support of other maintenance and engineering staff.
• Responsible for overall upkeep of the vessel and maintenance resources.
• Participate and/ or take a lead role in vessel paint and fiberglass projects as directed
• Maintain necessary tools, filters, and replacement parts on hand as needed.
• Follow regulatory and company safety and pollution prevention policies and procedures.
• Oversee or assist preparing the vessel for all USCG annual inspections and dry docks.
• Maintain a professional demeanor
• Possess thorough knowledge of all company policies, procedures, and Emergency

• Sailing captain experience required on vessels larger than 50 feet as well as dive master or above
• Minimum 100 ton RYA offshore license

Supervisor: Beach Captain / Beach Manager

General Job Description:
The Watersports Center is the hub for all beach activities at The Ritz-Carlton Grace Bay. Beach attendants are responsible for delivering a luxury guest experience by servicing guests with non-motorized watersports such as kayaks, stand up paddle boards, snorkel equipment and hobie cats.


Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
● Provide hospitality to all beach guests by delivering Ritz-Carlton service standards, including using the guest’s name three time throughout any interaction, exceeding guest expectations when fulfilling their requests, and anticipating their every need
● Facilitate sailing lessons for guests on hobie cats
● Provide safety briefings to guests prior to their use of all non-motorized watersport
● Provide supervision of guests while using watersports equipment in the designated areas
● Track daily watersports equipment usage, by guest, per company standards
● Complete general maintenance and upkeep of watersports equipment, including daily shift setup and breakdown, and the reporting of unsafe/damaged equipment
● Be an ambassador and sales associate to upsell guests on additional watersport excursions offered by RED
● Provide small power boat operations for retrieving guest and transferring guests from catamaran and other motorized sports
● Complete a monthly inventory of equipment and/or retail items as directed
● Complete end of shift billing and reconciliation of guest receipts for excursions and rental gear sold
● Communicate with guests on trip updates and cancelations

Job Requirements
● Working eight hours outside in the water and/or under the sun
● Ability to work flexible hours due to guest demands, including nights, weekends and holidays

We are seeking enthusiastic, creative and dedicated instructors to launch a new resort Learn To Sail program. The Ritz Sailing Academy vision is to provide resort guests the opportunity to Learn To Sail while on vacation in the island paradise.

General Job Description:

The Property Director is the senior leader responsible for guest facing services delivered by RED. The scope of responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: managing beach, sailing and activity staff, building and managing relationships with the hotel’s guidance committee, communicating with Ritz-Carlton Catering, assisting with retail inventory, payroll, scheduling, and staff training, as well as maintaining complete responsibility for the business unit’s employee performance, third party vendor relationships, guest satisfaction results and financial performance.

  • Leadership
    • Lead the management team (Property, Operations, Beach Operations, Marine Operations) who report directly to this position
    • Support and manage the following duties of the Marine Operations Manager:
      • Management of marina, preventative maintenance, asset management, the creation of all duty sheets and all operations standards, including training manuals
      • Accountable for captains completing pre-trip provisioning, preparation, vessel inspection, post-trip cleaning and resupply
    • Support and manage the following duties of the Beach Operations Manager:
      • Organize and supervise daily operations, including delegation and management of beach attendant staff who deploy the non-motorized watersports equipment such as kayaks, SUPs, hobie cats and snorkeling equipment and facilitate the on-property sailing program
    • Support and manage the following duties of the Property Operations Manager:
